Welcome LoveBirds to the final edition of LoveBird Book reviews. I have dreaded the day when I have had to say those words to you, my friends. This column has been such a source of joy for me throughout the last two years. I would like to thank anyone who has ever had a part in growing this column. A big thanks to anyone who has ever read this column and shared in my devoted love of books. I hope that I have brought you even a fraction of the joy that you have brought me over the last two years. While I am very sad to end my time at Fairmont State, I cannot tell you how excited I am for the next chapter in my life. (See what I did there, did you think I wouldn’t give you one last book pun?)
For my final article, I have decided that it is only fitting to stick with tradition and recommend books that will be released after the semester ends. I must admit that as the end of the semester closes in, I find it harder and harder to feel sentimental when I have 3 papers, 4 exams, and 2 general assignments this week alone. Let’s just say that I am counting down the days till May 11th. As graduation nears I can begin to smell the heavenly scent of new books. I can almost feel the summer sun on my face while sitting on my porch. I can taste the freedom to read for hours on end. We are almost there; the end of the semester is in sight. Thank you all again.

This is the rating system I try to follow for consistency. In all honesty, I will only recommend books that I like because I consider all readers my friends, so most of the books I recommend will be 3-5 stars because that means I truly enjoyed them and would read again.
