Cooking in a Dorm with an Air Fryer
Welcome to the third installment of my dorm room cooking series! This week the cooking machine we will be talking about is the air fryer! I personally love my air fryer; I use it all the time. My favorite thing is to reheat cold pizza in my air fryer, but here are some easy and affordable wheels that you can make if you are in a dorm or small apartment:
- Chicken Nuggets And French Fries,
- Chicken Breast,
- Fried Chicken,
- Fish,
- Shrimp,
- Steak
- Burgers
- Stuffed Mushrooms
- Corn On The Cob
- Baked Potatoes
- Vegetables
- Onion Rings
- Mozzarella Sticks
- Bagel Bites
- Pizza, Pizza Rolls
- Brownies, Cookies,
- Bacon, Eggs,
- French Toast
- Pepperoni Rolls
- Practically, Whatever Your Taste Buds Desire!
I do not have any dietary restrictions nor am I vegan or vegetarian, but if you are I am sure that there are plenty of options for substitutes, but you could find for these. As always, the disclaimer is you should reach out to your RA or RD Before to make sure you were allowed to use an air fryer in your dorm room.
Another thing I will reiterate is that you should have a meat thermometer if cooking meat, have cooking mitts, and proper utensils to help protect yourself when cooking. When the air fryer is in use, be in the room with it, do not leave unattended. When the air fryer is not in use, it should be turned off, unplugged, and stored away.
