The SGA make Leadership Changes
On January 30, 2020, the SGA announced new executive board members, Senior Campaign progress, approved a fundraiser request and stated details regarding Fairmont State Day.
The new executive board members include former SGA Secretary Raychel Fitzwater and Zachary Francher. Zachary Francher accepted the SGA’s Chief of Staff position and Raychel Fitzwater accepted the Vice President position.
President Tyler Keller informed the assembly that the Senior Campaign is obtaining materials necessary to build the hammock’s and that they will soon be in operation.
Fairmont State University’s Black Student Union requested $400 for the band that will perform at events celebrating Black History Month and the assembly unanimously approved the $400.
President Keller also mentioned to the assembly that on February 25th the bus will leave campus at 6:00 a.m., taking the participating organizations to Fairmont State Day at the Capital in Charleston. On the same day, the busses will leave the Capital around 5:00 p.m. to travel back to Fairmont State University.
