Falcons W/PRIDE Celebrates the Month of October

October 11th is National Coming Out Day.
This October, Falcons W/PRIDE held their monthly meeting to address campus events, changes in membership and share fundraising ideas. After the Director of Falcons W/PRIDE, Lars Lehman, introduced Assistant Director Zettie Bowling, it was announced that Allen Cervenak will no longer be a panel member. With this, Director Lehman asked that those interested in becoming a panel member contact him directly.
On September 23, 2019, Falcons W/PRIDE gave out free cupcakes and friendship bracelets in the Falcon Center. As for events held in the month of October, Falcons W/PRIDE made friendship bracelets on the 6th floor of Bryant Place and painted FSU’s bell for National Coming Out Day.
For those interested in attending any Falcons W/PRIDE events or meetings, Director Lehman uses GroupMe, Remind App, and email to notify members of upcoming events and meetings.
Before ending the meeting, Director Lehman shared a photo with attendees that stated, “LGBT life gets better together.”
