SGA Emphasizes the need for Freshmen Elections and a New Faculty Senate Officer
Beginning at 12:30 p.m. on October 3, 2019, the Student Government Association meeting was led by only two representatives: President Tyler Keller and Vice President Dillon Bradley. Absences were due to midterm responsibilities that caused Secretary Rachel Fitzwater and Treasurer Becky Luketic to miss the meeting.
President Keller reminded members that freshman elections end on October 3, 2019 and that an email with the ballot had been sent to all freshmen.
Halfway through the meeting, Vice President Bradley mentioned that the Senior Campaign’s greenhouse initiative display should be placed behind Hunt Haught Hall. Vice President Bradley also mentioned that SGA will take part in the homecoming parade and will need a trailer for their float.
Before the meeting adjourned at 12:40 p.m., President Keller emphasized the need for a new Faculty Senate Officer. The Faculty Senate Officer nominations will take place Thursday, October 10, 2019. Constituents of SGA are encouraged to come forward and file for the nomination. The individual(s) that file for the position will be voted on at the October 17, 2019 meeting.
