The suspect has surrendered himself to the Morgantown Police Department as of April 12th. For any further updates please visit WDTV for their article on the situation. The Columns will not update our article unless we feel the information pertains to the safety of Fairmont State and Pierpont students. Updated Thursday, April 11th 7:30 p.m.:
Both the suspect and victim involved in Wednesday’s shooting have been identified by police.
Authorities are looking for information on Christopher Keldo, also known as Chris Kavali, Kavali Rose or Tyrone Cutler. Keldo, 27, of Morgantown. He is wanted for 1st-degree murder in the shooting death of 27-year-old Justin KaShawn, of Fairmont. Officials say Keldo also has connections in Maryland, Virginia and South Carolina.
A vehicle believed to have been involved in the shooting is now in police custody.

It has come to the attention of the Campus Police Department that an off-campus shooting has occurred on Hawthorn Street. The suspect is at large. If you have any information please contact the City of Fairmont Police at (304) 366-4200.
